ImSightPerceelscanFind an address

Sources and method

Every answer in a Perceelscan comes from government open data, usually via PDOK, and comes with its source and the date it was retrieved.

The sources

BAG, the national register of addresses and buildings (Kadaster)The address, the buildings with year of construction, status and use, and the usable floor area.
Cadastral map (Kadaster, the Dutch land registry)The plot that the Kadaster links to the address, with its cadastral size.
Public-law restrictions (publiekrechtelijke beperkingen, Wkpb; Kadaster)What a government body has registered on the plot: monuments, soil contamination decisions, municipal rights of first refusal (voorkeursrecht), permits to split a property (splitsingsvergunning).
Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE)National monuments (rijksmonumenten), protected townscapes and village views (beschermde stads- en dorpsgezichten) and World Heritage.
Actueel Hoogtebestand Nederland (AHN, the national elevation map)The height of the building, measured with laser scans.
Foundation risk (KCAF and RVO)The areas that need attention for foundation problems, per postcode.
Natura 2000 (Netherlands Enterprise Agency, RVO)The Natura 2000 areas on and around the plot.
Atlas Leefomgeving (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, RIVM)Noise from all sources combined and the air quality at the address.
Aerial photos and maps (PDOK)The current aerial photo and the background map.

All sources are open data (CC0 or CC BY 4.0).

Found, not found or not checked

A source that responds and finds nothing is different from a source that does not respond. The report makes that distinction: 'not found' is an answer, 'not checked' means the source did not respond.

The plot for an address

The Kadaster (the Dutch land registry) links every address to its plot. The Perceelscan uses that link, not whichever plot happens to lie under the address point.

The texts

The sentences in a report come from fixed templates, not from a language model: the same plot always produces the same text. Every section has a button for reporting an error.

The search box

The search box searches PDOK’s Locatieserver, which has every address in the BAG (the national register of addresses and buildings). It also finds an address with a small typo, and does not show addresses that no longer exist.
