Privacy
This is a draft: the final text will follow after review by a lawyer.
What we store
- The address you order a report for, and the report itself.
- Your name and email address, to deliver the report and the PDF and to let you know if something goes wrong.
- A VAT number if you provide one, for the invoice.
- An error report you send in yourself.
- With an account: your email address, name, role, company and VAT number as you provide them, an encrypted form of your password (never the password itself), the plots you looked at while logged in and when you last logged in.
- For a free scan: which promo code you used, so that it only works once.
- Which address a check was requested for and when (for one year), with your account if you were logged in. We do not store your IP address with it.
- With a subscription: your customer number and subscription number at Stripe and the status of your subscription. Stripe manages your payment and billing details.
When you search
When you type an address, we look up the street and house number in PDOK’s Locatieserver, which has every address in the BAG (the national register of addresses and buildings). Your IP address is not sent along.
If you tap Use my location, your browser first asks whether the site may use your location. Our server only uses it to look up nearby addresses and does not store your location.
Cookies
When you log in, the site sets a cookie that keeps you logged in (thirty days, or until you log out). It is strictly necessary for your account and is used for nothing else.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) only if you consent to them in the cookie notice. We store your choice in the cookie 'meten' (six months): only yes or no. Google never receives the address you search for or look at, and we measure nothing on a report.
What we don’t do
No adverts on the site and no third-party cookies without your consent. We do not see your payment details: payment goes through Stripe.
How long
We keep an order and the report for as long as the link is valid (365 days) and after that for as long as the law requires for the accounts.
Your rights
You can view your data, have it corrected or have it deleted as far as the law allows (GDPR). Contact: see the About ImSight page. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
